Who we are

DailyCharter ("we") is operated by Daily Charter S.L., Calle García Treviño, Spain. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: privacy@daily-charter.com.

What we collect and why

Email address and name — to deliver the daily study emails you signed up for and to manage your account (legal basis: performance of a contract). Exam window — to pace your email sequence (contract). Country — to calculate applicable tax on paid plans (legal obligation). Email engagement data such as opens and quiz replies — to run spaced-repetition recaps and improve content (legitimate interest; you can object at any time).

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe (integration pending — paid plans are not charged yet). We never receive or store your full card details. See the provider's own privacy policy for how they handle payment data.

Who we share data with

Our email service provider Resend, our payment processor Stripe, and our hosting providers GitHub Pages (website) and Cloudflare (email engine). We share only what each vendor needs to perform its function, under data-processing agreements. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Subscriber data is kept while your subscription is active and for [N] months after cancellation, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Invoicing records are kept for the period required by tax law in Spain.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. EU/EEA residents may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email privacy@daily-charter.com. You can unsubscribe from all emails via the link in any message.

International transfers

Some of our vendors (Resend, Stripe, GitHub, Cloudflare) may process data outside the EEA. Where they do, transfers rely on the safeguards those vendors provide for EU data, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes

We will notify subscribers by email of material changes to this policy before they take effect.
